KAHUNA ISUP INFLATABLES
KAHUNA iSUP’s are constructed using a Reinforced Drop Stitch (RDS) technology which is the most advanced method available today. RDS is 4% lighter because the 2 layers are heat pressed for consistency and uses less glue. All iSUP’s need strands of "silk string" to control thickness and stiffness. At Kahuna we demand that our iSUPs have 850 strands/sq. ft, this is the highest amount currently available in the paddleboard industry. For 2018, we were able to increase the stiffness in the standing zone even more by adding a 3K “Twill" side rail reinforcement. This also puts 3 layers of material in the paddle strike zone which adds to our renowned quality and durability.
